By the time that some of you read this, I will already be married! Being active in genealogy, I have been preparing family tree information that I will be emailing to both sides of my family, his and mine after we are married. I will also include a scan of the document to family, for their records.
In the county that we are getting married in, there is no need for witnesses to sign. That is strange to me, but I think we are going to have our witnesses and attendees sign the license when it comes back to us, then frame it.
I have also decided that I am going to create a collage of wedding licenses from our families to put on our wall.
We are lucky that the license we got is stunningly beautiful. I will post a photo here once we get it back. For those who are not as fortunate, there is the option of creating one online, and there will be one for sale here by the end of the month. This can also be used to create a license for relatives that are long gone, to create your own collage.
May you all have a peace filled and happy weekend, filled with joy and blessings.
